Schaffhausen, 21 de marzo de 2016 – IWC Schaffhausen ha presentado tres ediciones especiales de la familia de relojes Ingenieur en el 74.o Goodwood Members’ Meeting. El Ingenieur Cronógrafo Edición «74th Members’ Meeting at Goodwood», que aparece en una edición limitada de solo 74 ejemplares, rinde homenaje a este legendario acontecimiento del deporte de carreras celebrado en el sur de Inglaterra. El Ingenieur Cronógrafo Edición «74th Members’ Mee- ting at Goodwood» (ref. IW380703) recuerda la edición de este año del legendario e histórico evento del deporte del motor celebrado cerca de la costa meridional de Inglaterra. El centro de atención de este reloj limitado a 74 ejemplares es la caja de oro rojo macizo con un diámetro de 42 milí- metros. Con su elegante sobriedad, se diferencia del diseño de caja técnicamente elegante de Gérald Genta utilizado hasta ahora en la familia Ingenieur y confiere al reloj un aspecto clásico. La esfera negra con los dos totalizadores, el pequeño segundero y la escala taquimétrica que recorre el borde exterior está inspirada en el salpicadero de un veloz coche deportivo. La pulsera elaborada artísticamente con piel de ternero marrón recuerda el refinado habitáculo de los automóviles clásicos.

El Ingenieur Cronógrafo Edición «Rudolf Caracciola» (ref. IW380702) está dedicado al piloto Rudolf Caracciola, tres veces campeón de Europa de Grandes Premios en los años treinta. La caja de acero fino, las agujas rodinizadas y la esfera de color pizarra confieren al reloj un carácter técnico y a la vez elegante. La esfera imita el aspecto de los instrumentos de los coches de carreras clásicos que Caracciola pilotó victoria tras victoria en el cénit de su ca- rrera. Este modelo también está provisto de una refinada pulsera de piel de ternero marrón. La limitación a 750 ejem- plares confiere al reloj deportivo y elegante una exclusividad adicional.
